Attorney Stephen Kirkland graduated cum laude from the Thomas Jefferson School of Law, where he was a Law Review member and received the following awards:

Attorney Kirkland joined Peters & Freedman, L.L.P. as a paralegal prior to becoming a member of the California State Bar. In his eight years as a paralegal with Peters & Freedman, L.L.P., Attorney Kirkland worked in the assessment collection department, and the construction defect department.
